Managing Asset Settings

Introduction:

This article will help you manage your Asset field settings including custom fields.

Instructions:

1.  Log into your ManagerPlus account and click on the Settings icon located on the left.

2.  Click on the Assets icon under the Module Settings section.

3.  You can select between the three sections: General, Category Settings, and Makes and Models.

Glossary of Terms:

General:

Asset Status:  When creating or editing an Asset Status, you can mark the status as being an active status by click the Active checkbox.

Default Status:  Status used when creating a new Asset.

Category Settings:

Asset Category:  When creating or editing an Asset Category, you can manage the logs, custom fields and options related to the category. You can add main or sub-groups by clicking the plus sign, delete by clicking the Sub-Category and clicking on delete.

Asset Class:  When creating or editing an Asset Class, you will select the related category which will then display the custom fields and allow you to set any defaults for that Class.

Makes and Models:

Create or Select a Make:   Here you can add a specific Model to a already created Make, or create a new Make and Model.
